Work Biography Part A:

My first mature paintings were post-minimal abstraction . I used exaggerated dimensions, repetition of panel sizes and shapes,and ratios mimickng familiar objects- like the standard door. All of this focus on parameter was done to leave the landscape, image-making business of painterly abstraction to pursue more liberated and immediate effect. I also strove to make the viewer conscious of context as content.
