These are examples of the large scale trigonometric projections I was making from 1989 thru 1991.  The panels of these pieces, when viewed straight on, create a fairly simple geometric image. However, when viewed from the side, the the image becomes unfastened.. These pieces are at the intersection of several important ideas for me. They refer both to Cubism and Islamic architecture. They are also like mobiles, except her the viewer moves instead of the sculpture..
